St Andrew's Church Epworth

The free-standing ringers gallery structure in oak is set independently to the walls thereby minimising fixings and contact between the two. The frame and floor consisted entirely of English Green Oak with traditional pegged joints. An oak trapdoor was incorporated into the floor of the ringers gallery to allow future access to the bells. Project in conjunction with

Treske Ltd.

Green Oak Extension  

Glazed Green Oak Sun Room with a decked roof and rather smart glass blacony. Unfortunately the bespoke glazed balcony was held up due to Covid closures.

Green Oak Windows

A lovely job working alongside Client's own builders.  We supplied the Green Oak Framework, Doors, Windows and all glazing to make the new extension something truly spectacular.

A rather indescript 1980's property is given a complete makeover into something special with the addition of a Green Oak sunroom, covered external seating area and green oak porch.

March 2019 

Heritage Wheel House 

Re-roofed, cunningly insulated and water tight. Whilst we re-used many of the original materials we replaced the incorrect concrete ridges for historically correct stone ridges, and the few reclaimed pantiles blended in perfectly.

November 2018 - January 2019

Sensitive Repairs  

A wonderful opportunity to repair and restore this listed property in Pontefract town centre. Working with original timber beams dating back to 1585.  

December 2018 

Green Oak Vestibule 

Replacement of a tired PVC entrance vestibule on this Harrogate apartment. Part of a Listed property this called for some design flair and appreciation for the building as a whole.

Contemporary Extension 

A unique extension to a period Semi Detached House in York.  Creating modern, open plan, living space.  Using Western Red Cedar Cadding, Living Cedum Roof, Oversized Skylights and Aluminium bi-folding doors ~  letting the outside in.

Traditional Roundhouse 

In one of Yorkshire's beautiful estates, we constructed a traditional roundhouse with a combination of sleepers, Yorkshire grown softwood, with English grown cedar roof tiles and Yorkshire Hazel Hurdles.

Sowerby Gateway

An exciting and totally different Green Oak Project working closely with Chrysalis Arts Our in house CAD team drew up the Artistist's designs ensuring the construction and safety of the Art for public domain.



June 2016

Groundworks ~ Garage

A really enjoyable project, designed in house with Client's valuable input.  A Softwood Garage with UK grown Western Red Cedar cladding and shingled roof.



October 2016 - January 2017

Green Oak Extensions

Unable to visualise the final picture? Our in house design team created CAD drawings, which really helped our Client's visualise their project.

This particular project resulted in us being nominated for an LABC Buildings Excellence award 2017!
